Maggots Feeding
During the two decades I debated “sexual orientation” on the Maine political stage the Roman Catholic Chancery was religious about staying neutral. Remaining technically accurate they constantly reminded the people of Maine that banishment from housing, banking and eating (in a restaurant or public accommodation) shouldn’t be legal. These human needs shouldn’t be provided, or denied, based on minority characteristics.
The Protestant non-profit I led allowed that this point needed to be proven before the term “sexual orientation” could justifiably be added to Maine law. While it was never proven it was effectively asserted and eventually added to the law as a designation of moral, or legally approved, conduct.
What followed in quick succession were more changes to the law that further embedded the practice of sodomy in law, religion and culture. Same sex marriage quickly transitioned to confusing the man with woman and vice versa. I was vilified for predicting that our impressionable children would be the ones most damaged by this evil.
While the Church is holding to dogma on sodomy, it continues to strike a relaxed pose toward all things fake and gay.
