I’ve Been Paying Attention Way Too Long

I started deeply questioning “reality” shortly after assuming professional responsibilities at the Christian Civic League of Maine in the early 1990s (thirty five years ago).  My undergraduate degree in Religion/Philosophy gave me very rudimentary mental tools that helped me mature in that questioning right up to today.  A PhD would have given me enough skill and confidence to proceed to a higher altitude in society.

I crashed into Maine politics from a moderate altitude within the Protestant religious culture in Maine in my twenties.  I reasoned that our politics would be a good place to live philosophically.

I was so wrong.  But there is no way I could have known better way back then.  I was a Christian in the most ferociously Protestant nation the world has ever seen.  And by the end of the twentieth century all the men stopped going to church, and decided to think of themselves as “white.”  The men remaining in church decided to think and act more like women than the Christ-honoring warriors and fathers God requires.

So now I’m in the Roman Catholic Church, the only Western option besides Protestantism, and it is worse in so many ways.

In the first video above the YouTuber reveals her maturity allowing that she sees more deeply into reality than her more youthful colleagues.  Her specific complaint in the video concerns food.  The government has released a fresh new database that deepens the tech utopian plot.

For a government to be real it must be lawful.  Our government ignores enforcement of law.  It favors serving as an instructor, or guide.  And that is just what the new database promises — more information to help us decide.  Since turning all the priests and nuns gay we’ve enabled our government officials to slip into their uniforms.  Government officials are the authority, the only moral power in Maine, and America.  They define gospel truth.

Preachers are … silly.

Amen.
