Michael Matt pledges to never use AI.  I’m not going to do that just yet.

I am pledging, however, to never publish it without you knowing dear reader.  In other words I pledge to footnote, or endnote, my use of AI.  You will always know that my narrative is MY narrative.  If I include a paragraph or image created by AI I will note it clearly.  Additionally I will note the specific Agent or LLM that I referenced.

I’m finding the use of AI very helpful in research.  I realize I must be aware of bias and hallucinations.  But knowing that potential pitfall I’m finding the use of Grok pretty helpful on occasion.

I find the visual side of AI to be boring, frankly.  I prefer the old animated Disney to the new AI dependent fake and gay version.
