I’ve Been Unknowingly Exorcising Trump the Cult Leader
Academic left wing cultist Chris Hedges calls out his right wing counterpart in a short essay published today on his YouTube channel.
Hedges always leans hard into all the cliches of the left wing of the jewish bird of prey. Reducing the world — and especially America’s — current crisis to politics as existential he ominously concludes suggesting Trump may cancel the midterms to fend off the obliteration of his movement by Hedge’s own political cult, the demonrats. Trump may do that. And what used to be (until the last few years) the biggest part of me, hopes he does.
The smaller part of me, however, now matches the size of the bigger part, having delivered me to a 50/50 split in my political personality. The neurotic flapping of the bird of prey’s right wing contributed the most to creating my schizophrenia. In recent years these flight-destroying spasms led me to listen more deeply to creators like Hedges.
A much different academician, however, ended up consuming more of my time than any other online creator in the last decade. His name is Dr. E. Michael Jones. His theological work led me to abandon Protestantism and enter the Roman Catholic Church during Easter of 2020. Years ago I went beyond listening to the countless online podcasts that feature one hour conversations with Dr. Jones. I added the delight of reading to my listening and scrolling. He’s easy to find in the written word. He’s authored dozens of books and hundreds of magazines in his 78 years among us.
This work equipped me to read between the lines of the doomer boomer Hedges essay. Hedges describes a world that exists in his head alone. Trump and his cult followers are really … REALLY … bad. Obama and his cult followers … not so much.
Political leaders and influencers on both sides of this socially engineered American nominalist ideological superstructure are emerging from the World War II induced coma. We are taking an excruciatingly painful look at the part we played in creating this absurd world that divides absolutely everything … especially our souls and spirits … into two absolutely equal parts. We are walking away from this pornified perversion of Hegel’s dialectic. We are moving into a future infused by the light of Hegel’s cunning of reason.
I’m thinking specifically of Tucker Carlson and his brother’s recent sit down in front of the cameras here in Maine at the immensely popular podcaster’s studio in Bethel. They speak candidly of their responsibility for helping build the American political world that unleashed Trump’s genocidal religious cult on the planet. This is the one job left to us American boomers before we die — the examination of conscience.
The movement that militantly removed repentance (along with all the other sacraments) from their religious lexicon is being forced by the world to examine it’s institutional conscience. If Protestantism continues to descend into a hell of it’s own making I can now reliably predict that it will only destroy itself. It’s not going to destroy either America or Christianity. While pollsters tell us that America remains majority Protestant we all know the truth. America has emerged as the most religion hating, porn and violence addicted, empire the world has ever seen.
And, unsurprisingly, the world has moved on. Russia and China have been leading the way. They are now joined, most dramatically, by Iran. Embodying Persia, one of the most ancient and successful civilizations on earth, Iran has defeated the empire’s military. The only path remaining for America on the world stage is political. The end to both of the world’s most famous military operations (they aren’t wars laughingly) will be negotiated political compromises, thank God. Nobody’s going to surrender. Both sides will negotiate to a pivot and move on.
In a sense, the English Empire has indeed conquered the world. The English language is being used more than any other in trade and diplomacy to avoid the obliteration of humanity by way of a nuclear exchange. The use of precision guided munitions dependent on technological innovations largely discovered by the English dominated Europe of the past five centuries has diminished the slaughter of the armed conflicts of that period … especially in the past hundred years.
Dr. Jones authored a book entitled “Logos Rising” a few years ago. Logos is the Greek word for reason. The English Bible translates Logos into “word” and features it many times in the opening sentences of John’s gospel. Words are indeed rising. Weapons are being returned to their sheaths and holsters.
The people of the world are demanding a return to reason, goodness, truth, beauty and the moral law.
And no amount of online dooming by either wing of the jewish bird of prey is going to stop it from soaring.
Selah.
