He is right in observing that all the recent layoffs in journalism and the entertainment industry do not mean the fight is over — by a long shot.  He argues that as things continue to get worse creators with a natural or human vision will build back better.  These folks will not have the benefit of big anything around them.  They will fight for every scrap.

In the end they will win because they appreciate virtue.
