Pay Attention to Palantir

by | Apr 22, 2026

I’m tempted to vote Demoncrat in the upcoming Maine gubernatorial primary.  That’s IF I even choose to take time to encourage the beast system by voting at all.

For context related to my thinking about doing the unthinkable next month click thru to this AI link describing Palantir’s recent tweet outlining their ideology.

And then read this relatively short AI summary of Maine’s recently concluded Legislative Session.

I was forced early in my political career to non-partisanship.  My parents didn’t preach Republicanism or Demoncratism to me growing up.  My deep dive into politics started in religion and philosophy.  I became political as Executive Director of the Christian Civic League of Maine, a legally non-partisan non-profit.  I’ve never been able to shake the non-partisanship, thank God (quite literally).

So I’m very open to the idea of registering as a demonrat for the June primary and choosing from among the five hopefuls.  I loathe the thought of doing it because I still disagree with them on more issues than the republictards.  But, hey, I never imagined through such insane political times … so … maybe.

What I like about what the demonrats accomplished during this last session is their push back against the surveillance state.  That is fast becoming my top issue.  I don’t want my grandchildren to inherit an unconstitutional militant autocracy from my generation.

Amen.
