The connection is deeper than most people realize. Some of Iran’s earliest targets on the opposite shore of the Persian Gulf were Amazon data centers that host Anthropic’s Claude AI. This particular AI was used on day one targeting of over one thousand sites in Iran. This included the girl’s school in Southern Iran that killed over one hundred staff and students.
A militarized version of China’s Deepseek is being used by Iran for targeting, and perhaps more.
