I’m coming up on a year of studying all things decentralized internet, especially Bitcoin.  I’ve learned so much and hope to start posting regularly about it here.

I credit the author Neal Flesher with pointing my mind in the Bitcoin direction.  George Gilder got me thinking about things cryptographic, blockchain and private with his excellent book “Life After Google.”  I listened to the audiobook version at least three times years ago.

Neal’s book makes the philosophical case for Bitcoin in his 2026 book, “Modern Chains.”

Is this the apocalypse?  I don’t know.  Only God knows the future.  If it isn’t then I believe that Bitcoin’s design and function presents an idea for the future that will improve money and economics.
