Tim’s Truthslinging for Retards
I’m taking grief from Christians for supporting Tim Bodnar’s Truthslinging project on X. Tim is connected to two other prominent Maine political activists. Nick Blanchard goes by Cornpop. The other standout in activism who I’ve connected with Tim is Richard from Hallowell, across the river from where I live.
Richard describes himself as a “cultural Christian.” Nick got saved at a Protestant evangelical gathering in recent years. He can correct me if I’m wrong. Tim is a Protestant. He’s written a book entitled “Wartime Christianity.” All three men are not shy about connecting their personal identity with their online identity. That alone earns my respect. But they also talk openly about their Christianity in the context of their political work.
I entered the Roman Catholic Church during Easter in 2020. I love my Church home. But I also love these men. Crossing the Tiber gave me a deeper appreciation for my Protestant baptism, and my sanctification in the milieu of Protestantism up until 2020.
Having led the most famous tea-totaling version of Protestantism for twenty years I’m well acquainted with Maine Christianity’s attitude toward drugs and alcohol. From what I can determine that is the source of my trouble with these men.
Tim is the oldest of the three. And until recently he was publicly including pot smoking, drink and cigarette smoking in his online schtick.
Gossip is the currency of womanish Christianity in Maine. And the public version of Maine Christianity — Protestant and Catholic — is the Pine Tree State’s most feminized institution.
Real, hard working Maine men don’t go to church. It turns their stomach. And the men who do go to church will turn off their brain and blame me for observing this instead of sitting back with a smoke and cold one and pondering the truth of it for half-a-second.
They will join their women in gossiping about everyone else instead of taking responsibility for themselves, their families and their duties in the workplace. God is watching. And God is going to be expecting answers on Judgment Day that don’t include blaming the Democrats, feminists, liberals, conservatives et. al.
Maine is going to be fixed by men who choose to make reality the thing. Or it won’t be fixed.
It’s really that simple.
Stop spending all your time scrolling for evidence of sins in others that are worse than the ones you perceive yourself of having committed. Connect your online identity fully with your real identity. Stop playing “social” media games … WITH YOURSELF. The online drama is becoming so obvious and onerous that the problem is starting to correct itself at the very moment that the global trillionaire class is doubling down on creating their surveillance, social-scoring slave state. China is not the problem on this issue. Trump is warp speeding it’s creation.
If you don’t care about yourself then think about children and future generations. They need you to choose goodness, truth and beauty as much as you know you need to make that choice. If you aren’t dead then there is hope. Actually there is always hope that your eternal Judge won’t send you to hell. There is no worse fate in the universe. So why are we working overtime to live there before we’re even dead?
Dystopia. You’re living in one.
I call Tim the King of Anti-Social Media in Maine. All so-called social media is anti-social. It’s a feature, not a bug. Tim just does it better than you.
Stop being jealous.
Selah.
