I’ve read a lot of Chesterton.  First saw this quote a week ago.  Much of the meaning is still obscured by my fully protestantized mind.  That part of my mind simply hates the quote.  For obvious reasons.

A reminder to all my Protestant American friends — humanity doesn’t THINK the way you do.  America is the most ferociously Protestant and Zionist nation on earth.  It’s post WWII hegemony is OVER.

Humility is a virtue, I believe.
