The greatest force for peace is the power that content creators like Judge Napolitano have to distribute narratives/perspectives/insights from respected leaders like Jeffery Sachs.  I deplore the idea of nuclear war.  It makes no sense to me that humanity existed for nearly eighty years spending trillions on Mutually Assured Destruction.

This must end.  It should never have become a reality for humanity.

America is the major reason it happened.  We are the only nation on earth to use Nukes.  We obliterated the most Christian city in Japan to end World War II.  Can we please stop already?

The world wants peace.  They want us to bring all our economic hit men home.  The world wants to trade with us.  How about we stop with all the moral absolutist insanity, the “City on a Hill” utopianism, and prayerfully open our hearts and minds to the rest of humanity?

Judge Andrew Napolitano and Larry Johnson praise Orthodox Christianity in this short Moscow interview.  The Judge says that the Russian Orthodox worship service he attended reminded him of the Roman Catholic Latin Mass.

Larry Johnson gets the most worked up when talking about Christianity in America.  I heard him brag in one interview about abandoning the Protestant version of Christianity in which he was raised by his parents.  Yet, he speaks VERY favorably about the positive effect of Christianity he sees with his own eyes on Russian culture.

They’ve commented more than once since arriving in Moscow about how clean, gleaming and traditional everything is, and how there are no police.  One of my jogging routes in Maine’s Capitol City, Augusta, takes me by the Taj Mahal police station, and then past the homeless encampment downtown.

Maine and America are collapsing because we hate God and his moral law so much.  We’ve traded the Faith for the love of money and things.  There is no way on God’s green earth that this ends well for U.S.

Europe is believing, wrongly, that the United States of America is going to continue to make war on Russia.  We should have stopped twenty years ago, when communism collapsed in the Soviet Union.  Even though we are twenty years late at least Trump and Vance are stepping up now and giving Europe a reality check.

This video provides fascinating analysis of diplomatic developments in recent days between Russia and America.  Donald Trump promised to end the conflict on day one of his administration.  Twenty four hours quickly became one hundred days following the Inauguration of the new President in Washington DC January 20th.  As the new administration begins it’s second month in power news emerges from Saudi Arabia hinting at a possible Summit between the top political leaders of Russia, China and America.  America’s Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with his Russian counterpart in Riyadh this week.

The previous administration’s refusal to keep diplomatic channels open with Russia as Zelensky’s Ukraine made war on their Eastern neighbor never made any sense.  The old World War II order that fueled Cold War tensions died long before Biden took office.  Russia shed her Communist identity over two decades ago.  Furthermore, the ancient nation dramatically pivoted to identification with their historic Christian religion, Russian Orthodoxy.  American cultural, religious and political forces still choose to mostly ignore this reality in favor of maintaining war tensions that benefit the Military Industrial Complex of the United States.

Stephen Baskerville is always worth reading.  Here are his thoughts on the recent scolding of Europe delivered by VP Vance.

European leaders are tearing their hair out. Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are negotiating an end to the Ukraine war (and other matters) and leaving the Europeans out of the talks — effectively, leaving them high and dry. Adding insult to injury, US Vice President J.D. Vance then delivered a scathing condemndation of those leaders for their narcissism and authoritarianism and for betraying only Ukraine, but the very western values (like free speech) that they claim to be upholding. Vance made it clear that Europe is no longer relevant to global politics, security, or much of anything else.

So European leaders like Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer and above all Ursula von der Leyen are ranting and raving and reviving old pipedreams like building a European defense force in order to support Ukraine on their own — and to consolidate power in Paris, London, and Brussels. Having obsequiously followed the Americans into the war, these toadies are stuck with it and unable to follow the Americans out.
